About the project

The project aims to provide psychosocial assistance, promote responsible parenthood and strengthen partnership in families, and prevent GBV and domestic violence
TatoHub is a safe support space for parents, in particular young families, fathers, veterans and veterans’ families
In wartime, supporting the family becomes the foundation of community resilience. TatoHub creates opportunities for dialogue, developing parenting skills and emotional support for men and women as equal partners

Main areas of work

  • psychosocial support for parents
  • support groups for fathers
  • activities for young families
  • work with veterans and veterans’ families
  • awareness activities on responsible parenthood
  • strengthening partnership in the family
  • socialisation and building mutual support communities
  • preventing GBV and domestic violence
  • work with young people on overcoming gender stereotypes and prejudice

Why it matters

In wartime, men are often left without a space to discuss their own feelings, the difficulties of parenthood and adapting to new social roles. TatoHub is the only space that takes care of men’s mental health.

TatoHub:

    • reduces stress in families;
    • supports men in their role as fathers and builds an understanding of responsible fatherhood;
    • promotes healthy patterns of interaction and partnership in relationships;
    • strengthens family cohesion;
    • creates local support communities.
    • supports men’s involvement in raising children;
    • shapes young people’s outlook free from gender stereotypes.

Our approach

We combine psychosocial support, group work, individual consultations and awareness activities, creating a space of trust and partnership.

TatoHub is not only about fathers. It is about strong families and resilient communities. A separate area of work is young people - free from stereotypes and prejudice, conscious in building relationships and focused on responsible parenthood.
